About
Nick W. Potts is a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator based in Bundjalung Country, Northern Rivers Australia; a lifelong creative whose work is driven by curiosity, imagination and a deep reverence for the unseen layers of human experience. Holding a Bachelor of Design from the College of Fine Arts, Nick has spent the past decade working professionally as an artist, illustrator and designer, building an expansive and diverse body of work that reflects both technical mastery and emotional depth.
Throughout his career, Nick has collaborated with major clothing brands, international musicians and creative projects across the globe. His portfolio is extensive and fluid, spanning full scale branding packages, album artwork, clothing design, murals, billboards, and large-format visual campaigns to working closely with families to design deeply personal pieces from family and pet portraits to wedding invitations and bespoke commissions, bringing the same care and artistic integrity to every scale of project.
Nick’s practice is not confined to a single medium or style; rather, it moves between disciplines, guided by the needs of the story he is telling. His work draws inspiration from the multidimensional nature of being human; the emotional, the physical, the symbolic, the spiritual, and the unseen. Through layered imagery and thoughtful composition, he invites the viewer to look beyond what is immediately visible and consider the worlds that exist between.
At its core, Nick’s art is an exploration of connection, bridging inner and outer worlds, imagination and reality, the tangible and the mysterious.
A full-time artist and full time father of five, Nick creates from within the richness and responsibility of family life. This lived experience brings grounding and authenticity to his work, shaping an artistic tone that is both experienced, professional and deeply human.
